If you want to be an avid gambler or poker player, you’d have to have plenty of friends in the poker room. This can only help you and never hurt you.
So when you’re in a poker room, if it’s real or an online casino – or at a friend’s house even, just be polite. Talk to other players – it doesn’t have to be about poker, just strike up a conversation. The benefits and rewards are worth it. Of course, you should never try to break your concentration on the game – that’s why many poker players remain silent, but if you can talk and stay concentrated, you’ll be able to go far in the poker world. Interacting with other players is just one small step in becoming a better poker player, but don’t count it out as a small step – it’s very important.
